The Sacred Threads Women’s Retreat
November 6–8, 2026 | Tulsa, Oklahoma
A Sacred Untaming Retreat
You are capable.
Reliable.
Giving.
You are the one who remembers, organizes, checks in, shows up, carries the emotional weight, and keeps things moving.
and you're tired.
Not because you're doing something wrong.
Because humans were never meant to carry everything alone.
Maybe you don't have a religion anymore, or you’ve never had one.
But you still believe in connection.
In compassion.
In nature.
In the wisdom of those who came before us.
In gathering around a table.
In making meaning from what we've lived through.
In being witnessed.
In having people who know you and still stay.
You are looking for your village.
That's Sacred Threads.
For the Woman Who Holds Everyone Else.
What if what you're missing isn't another break from your life but a place to belong inside it?
Sacred Threads is a weekend immersive retreat hosted by two local trauma therapists held in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Together, through ritual, creativity, ancestry, nature, and reflection, we build a genuine community for women who are ready to stop simply surviving and begin weaving connection back into living.
This retreat is intentionally kept small to keep things intimate and build connection.
This Isn’t An Escape. It’s A Return
Sacred Threads is an immersive weekend created around the things women have always needed: community, meaning, ritual, creativity, nature, food, story, and somewhere to put down what we've been carrying.
A return to ritual.
A return to connection.
A return to being witnessed.
A return to yourself.
A return to the understanding that we were never meant to do this alone.
We aren't here to give you a moment of rest.
We're here to help you remember what it feels like to be connected and give you ways to carry that connection home.
Women have always gathered to mark change, share stories, grieve, celebrate, make meaning, and remind one another:
You are not alone.
At Sacred Threads, we'll explore these ideas through experiential ritual, storytelling, creativity, nature, lineage, shared meals, reflection, and community.

The Investment
This is not the cost of a retreat.
It is the cost of three days held in an intimate, curated experience while in the company of women who are done pretending — guided by two facilitators whose combined work spans embodiment, emotional healing, and trauma-informed care.
For the woman who has invested in everyone else's needs for years: this is the investment in yours.
Meals, lodging, and all materials are included.
𖤓
Choose your preferred room experience.
We’ve created a few options so you can choose the experience that feels most comfortable for you and your budget. Payment plans are available for every option, because connection and community shouldn’t have to come with a one-size-fits-all price tag.
You don't have to go far to go deep.
Destination retreats can mean flights, hotels, rental cars, meals, and hundreds, sometimes thousands, of dollars before you even arrive.
We wanted to create something different.
Local. Intimate. Beautiful. Accessible.
We bring the experience to you through local spaces, local practitioners, local food, regional traditions, and intentional connection so you can step away without having to completely step away from your life.
What Makes This Retreat Different
We're two trauma therapists who have spent decades working alongside women through some of life's hardest seasons.
We've watched women become caregivers, partners, mothers, daughters, professionals, survivors, organizers, helpers and the person everyone else relies on.
And we've also watched what happens when women finally have a place where they don't have to perform any of those roles.
Sacred Threads was created from that understanding.
Not as therapy. Not as another thing to accomplish. But as a space to reconnect with yourself, with other women, with nature, with tradition, and with the parts of your story you want to carry forward.
Created by women who understand what it means to carry too much.
Come as you are.
Leave with something that belongs to you.

Testimonies From Women Like You.
it's obvious you put your heart and soul into this, and I'm extremely grateful -M
Laura is a gem. It is hard to find someone that is so honest, straightforward, but in a gentle way.-C
It was truly an honor to share the space Laura and Chantel curated. They planned a wonderful day of relaxation and intentional connection. Everything was presented with love and thoughtfulness. I left feeling so connected to myself and a larger collective. Thank you for everything you poured into this beautiful retreat!-A
A beautiful and well organized day for Self. A perfect combination of movement, reflection, and peace. A day to spend "souly" for the participants in moments typically dispersed to others. I left feeling refreshed, happy, embracing intention. I slept better that evening than I had in years! I highly recommend this combo of amazing people to all!-A
Chantel encouraged me to trust my voice and I’m deeply grateful for the impact she had on my confidence-F
A Special Guest from Our Own Community
We’re honored to welcome Isabel “ Izzie” Garcia, a local Oklahoma City ceremonialist and steward of plant traditions, into Sacred Threads.
Drawing from her ancestral roots in Mexico, Izzie weaves elements of Mexica tradition, cacao, and tobacco into intentional ceremonial spaces centered around connection, reverence, and community.
Her work brings together ancient wisdom and contemporary practices in a way that invites us to slow down, listen inward, and connect with one another.
She creates spaces rooted in openness, safety, love, and reverence and we’re so excited to have her bring a piece of her work and her story to our retreat.
One of the things that makes Sacred Threads special? We’re not bringing you somewhere far away to find meaningful experiences. We’re bringing some of the beauty, wisdom, and incredible people already living in our own community to you.
Frequently Asked Questions
-
No. Sacred Threads is a retreat, not group therapy, and you don't need to share anything you're not comfortable sharing. As trauma therapists, we bring our experience and understanding of women, trauma, and nervous-system safety into the way we create and hold the space but this weekend is about connection, reflection, ritual, rest, and community. Come exactly as you are.
-
Absolutely not. Sacred Threads isn't connected to any religion, and there is no particular belief system you need to subscribe to. Our rituals are invitations not requirements to believe anything. You can engage with the weekend in whatever way feels meaningful to you, whether that's deeply spiritual, simply reflective, or somewhere in between.
-
Sacred Threads was created by two trauma therapists Laura Jacobs, and Chantel Weeks, who have spent decades working alongside women through trauma, caregiving, relationships, identity, grief, and all the complicated seasons of being human.
We don't believe women need another space where they're told how to heal, who they're supposed to be, or what their experience should look like.
Instead, we create intentional spaces for connection, reflection, ritual, and community with trauma-informed care woven into the way we hold the room.
Our goal isn't to give you a checklist to take home. It's to help you reconnect with yourself and discover what you want to carry forward.
-
Please do. In fact, many women will.
You don't need to bring a friend, know anyone beforehand, or have a built-in group waiting for you. Sacred Threads was intentionally created as a space where women can arrive as strangers and leave feeling a little more connected. We'll take care of the welcoming part you just have to show up.
-
Think cozy, comfortable, and you.
We recommend bringing:
Comfortable clothes you can move, lounge, and layer in
A yoga mat
A cozy blanket
Comfy socks or slippers
Clothes and shoes appropriate for being outside
A water bottle
Any personal toiletries or medications you need
A journal or notebook if you like to write
Anything small and meaningful you'd like to incorporate into your personal ritual
And most importantly, bring yourself exactly as you are. You don't need to prepare, perform, have the right words, or know how to do any of this. We'll meet you where you are.
-
Absolutely. Sacred Threads is intentionally LGBTQIA+ affirming and welcoming to people of all identities, backgrounds, relationship structures, and life experiences.
You don't have to fit a particular version of womanhood to belong here. There is no expectation that your relationships, family, identity, spirituality, or story look a certain way.
-
You are welcome here.
We understand that because we're therapists, there may be former or current clients who are interested in attending our retreats. We take confidentiality and professional boundaries seriously.
If you encounter someone you know from therapy, we will not identify you as a client or disclose your therapeutic relationship. We approach every person in the room with the same level of privacy and respect, and we will never assume familiarity or discuss anything from a therapeutic relationship in the retreat setting.
You are always welcome to decide what, if anything, you want to share about knowing us or anyone else attending.
-
No.
Everything we offer is an invitation. You can participate fully, modify an activity, observe, take a quiet moment, or step away when you need to.
We believe choice is part of creating a safe and meaningful experience.
-
No and we're very intentional about that.
Lineage and ancestry are woven into Sacred Threads as invitations to explore your own story, traditions, family, and what you choose to carry forward.
We aren't here to assign meaning to your heritage, tell you what your traditions should look like, or place you into someone else's spiritual framework.
Your lineage is yours.
You get to decide what you want to honor, what you want to question, what you want to reclaim, and what you want to leave behind.
-
Yes. Sacred Threads is part of an ongoing collection of intimate retreats we'll offer throughout the year, each with its own seasonal theme and experiences.
You don't have to attend them all, and each retreat will stand on its own. Some may explore different themes, seasons, or traditions, but the heart of them will remain the same: connection, community, intentional ritual, and coming home to yourself.
